Black Skies are a three piece sludge/post-metal unit from Carrboro, North Carolina that will be eating all attendees alive at Sneaky Dees on November 23nd with Kosmograd and Pyres. Laying down a meaty foundation of mid-tempo stoner grooves with gruff vocal hooks and powerful riffing dynamics, Black Skies take the template laid down by contemporaries such as Kylesa, Baroness and Red Fang and strip it down to the gritty essentials leaving no beards unsinged.
